A fascinating study conducted by Psychologist Amy Cuddy revealed that sitting or standing in a power posture for two minutes (like for example the one shown below) significantly lowers your stress hormone cortisol and raises your testosterone level. And we know from other studies that lower cortisol and higher testosterone levels are beneficial for your skin with regards to anti-ageing effects. So why not make a conscious effort to stand or sit in a power posture a couple of times per day – this will also increase your confidence in every day life!
